Environment
Keeping it clean and green
The printing industry as you can imagine isn’t that good for the environment. We acknowledge that in mass production there is mass waste of one-use plastic and less-than-friendly consumables.
Here are some of the ways in which we are trying to up our eco-friendly game.
ORGANIC AND ECO-FRIENDLY CLOTHING
We have two main clothing suppliers who use ethical and sustainable methods that we encourage you to use. Continental Clothing & Stanley and Stella.
PACKAGING
We are in the process of moving towards sustainable biodegradable packaging bags.
For T-shirts we offer Burrito Rolling – (our name for it!) – where each garment is folded and rolled into a neat paper tube (that represents a burrito) and secured with a sticker.
INKS
We do offer waterbased inks to print with which are better for the environment.
We’re happy to discuss the pros and cons of our materials.
RECYCLING
We recycle all plastic and cardboard. We reuse and recycle our ink pots, rejected t-shirts. We recycle our screens and as much material as possible in the factory.
CHARITY DONATION
We donate unusable stock which still serves a purpose to a variety of local and abroad charities including our local soup kitchen and a charity in Africa we have connections with. We are eager to increase our charity donation, do get in touch if you think we can help you.
LOCAL BUSINESS
One of our main objectives is to keep our work local. We cater to clients far and wide but we have always been keen on working with local businesses in and around London to reduce transport miles.
